The finance of educational systems determines the amount of resources that students and teachers have available for all types of learning. Funding influences where teachers choose to teach, the opportunities available to students, and the trade-offs that they have to make to in the process of teaching and receiving education. CEPA research informs policymakers by investigating how educational systems generate and allocate resources, both from government entities as well as private organizations.
