Federal and State Education Policy
Federal and state educational policy plays a major role in creating effective and equitable educational systems. Compliance with education policy dictates many of the actions of school districts that ultimately affect students’ day-to-day education. It is important for policymakers to understand the results of education policies to ensure better educational outcomes for students. CEPA helps inform policy decisions with empirical, nonpartisan research on how state and federal policies impact educational access, standards, rights, funding, and other facets of education as well as whether various policies are effective.
