Tran Lam

Tran (tranl95@stanford.edu) is an undergraduate freshman intending to pursue professional knowledge in Chemistry, Environment, and Education disciplines. The summer prior to college, she visited her hometown in Southern Vietnam and was driven to reverse pollution problems in Asia. In the same summer, she attended Stanford's Leland Scholars Program, a 3-weeks summer program that taught critical green thinking in the context of Chemistry. The marvelous faculty members from the program and Chemistry department inspired her to apply these three disciplines on Vietnam's education and help students learn critically in contexts of the environment and global matters. Her current research focused on American pre-K and the effectiveness of educational texting program. She is currently working with Professor Susanna Loeb and doctoral student Ben York at the Center for Education Policy Analysis (CEPA).
