Ryan Brennan is a doctoral student studying Economics of Education at Stanford University. His research interests include examining the relationship between education policy and labor market outcomes. He is passionate about focusing his research on the role education can play in reducing income inequality and on improving educational outcomes for students most in need. Prior to beginning his PhD, Ryan completed his MA in Curriculum and Instruction as a member of the Mississippi Teacher Corps. After a three-year teaching career in Mississippi, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he taught at Youth Villages before earning his MA in Economics at the University of Memphis. Ryan holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University.
