Roxanne Korthals (r.korthals@maastrichtuniversity.nl) is a PhD student at the Economics department and at the Research Centre for Education and the Labor Market (ROA) at Maastricht University, the Netherlands. Her research interests are education systems characteristics and its consequences for student performance and inequality. Currently she is focusing on cross country analyses of tracking in secondary education. Roxanne is working together with Eric Hanushek for five months at the Hoover Institution as a visiting scholar.
