Lief (wesben@stanford.edu) was a doctoral student studying economics of education and an IES Fellow. He earned his BA in economics from Carleton College and a Minnesota 5-12 social studies teaching license. He spent two years developing and implementing student growth percentile models for teacher evaluation in New York City before coming to Stanford.
