Hansol Lee (hansol@stanford.edu) is a PhD student in Education Data Science at Stanford University and a recipient of the Stanford Graduate Fellowship (SGF). She graduated from Cornell University with a BA and MS in Computer Science, where she collaborated with Cornell Engineering Undergraduate Admissions to introduce a machine learning system to support the admissions process. Her current research interests include leveraging data science to support human decision-making and exploring issues around algorithmic fairness in education.
