Ricky Vargas was born in Quito, Ecuador and immigrated to Los Angeles when he was 10 years old. He attended Gahr High School and worked hard to stand out amongst his peers. He was recently accepted to Stanford University where he is now majoring in Economics. After graduating, he hopes to pursue a career in education policy/reform with a focus on access to information and resources. Ricky is currently supporting Professor Sean Reardon at CEPA.
