Crystal A. Moore has two decades of experience in education as well as a lifelong passion for developing racially diverse, high performing, urban public schools. For over a decade, Crystal worked as a consultant on a number of projects, including new school design, community school development, individualized instructional plans, quantitative research on school diversity, and equity recommendations for an independent school. Her areas of specialty include change management, continuous improvement, leadership development, school design, and staff training. Most recently, she served as a principal coach in the DC State Superintendent of Education’s Learning Support Network, providing leadership development, technical assistance and professional development to four Priority school leaders. Crystal has an undergraduate degree in public policy from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University and a Master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a first-year student in the doctoral program at the Stanford Graduate School of Education with a focus on educational policy and the sociology of education.
