Amanda is a PhD Student in Education Policy and is a recipient of the Institute of Education Sciences Predoctoral Training Fellowship and the Stanford Graduate Fellowship in Science and Engineering. She earned a joint Masters in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies from the Stanford GSE and MPP from the Stanford Public Policy Program in 2015, and a Bachelors Degree in Government from Harvard College in 2011. Prior to Stanford, Amanda was a high school math teacher and College Counselor at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, LA. Amanda is interested in evaluating and understanding the role of private interventions in public education reform efforts.
